Reporting bugs: How to do it efficiently. Please report any bugs you encounter in the Bugs & Troubleshooting area of the forums.
Please follow these guidelines when reporting a bug. It'll let us handle bug reports and fix bugs efficiently, leaving time for development work proper.
- Name the thread descriptively and with a prefix: "Bug: Image uploading fails"
- Indicate your iWiccle version (e.g. 1.11) and if / how you've modified it.
- Provide an URL that shows the exact page on which the error occurs. (No need for the domain, the query string is what matters.)
- Explain precisely what you do right before the problem occurs, step by step.
- Copy any and all error messages you may encounter.
- Attach a screenshot / screenshots if possible.
We need to first of all be able to duplicate the bugs you report. For that, the above is necessary. If we can't replicate the bug in our test environments, a staff member will need access to the server on which the bug occurs --- first of all to discover what causes it and why, and second to find and test a solution in the actual bug environment. (If we can't duplicate it, there are no guarantees the suggested fixes will work for you.)

Search Feature for Bug Search ⋅ DosDawg December 5, 2010, 04:48 AM
i wanted to search the bugs area to see if the bug had already been submitted. i dont want to waste you guys time if its something you are already working on. also, not sure if its a wiccle bug, or something wacky with my server config. but was looking for a search feature for the forums, both on bug tracking and reporting. couldnt find it. might be blind.
Regards,
DosDawg
