This is the first in our series of video tutorials, and we start with the installer. This video (7:56) guides you through the following steps:

1. The uploading of files and setting of permissions,
2. The creation of database and database user, and
3. The installer script itself (five phases, 4 minutes with explanations).

iWiccle 1.11 update: You do not need to, and in fact should not set write permissions for the /install folder. It may cause Error 500 on some servers. The details on the last page and the admin account are also fewer than above --- just the username, password and e-mail.

Expect the level of editing with our videos to get a lot sexier once we have the worst of the deadlines out of the way, and a bit more time to tinker around with the fun stuff. At any rate, I hope this is a useful pilot for the series!
