We have released the first of many new guides & walk-throughs on converting new templates over to any of the Wiccle CMS platforms such as Wiccle Web Builder or Wiccle Community Builder.
The first version of the Template Guide is now online over at docs.wiccle.com. Go to the Graphic Design section & in the submenu select the Template Guide. We will be improving the template system near the end of the year but if you start converting templates over they should still work even with the change later.
The first guide has plenty of screenshots that will make the process of getting a template in pretty easy and is for both Graphic Designers / Programmers & End-Users where we have tried to make this as simple as possible to convert new templates with the current template system. We will also be uploading the actual template used in this first guide to the new downloads section on Wiccle.com in the coming days, otherwise this guide will help you get most standard templates in. The future versions of both Wiccle Web Builder and Wiccle Community Builder will have enhanced Menu Systems from the current basic versions, starting with the next system release of Wiccle Community Builder 2.0 & Wiccle Web Builder 1.2.
There is many ways to convert a template to the Wiccle CMS Platforms and this is why will we be creating more guides with different ways to doing the same thing with some parts that are more advanced than others which will require a higher level of skill involved but overall we will making everything as friendly as possible for graphic designers. Also coming is a guide to changing / creating new Unit Box designs, adding in external menu's (ie. a 3rd party menu system) & much more as we will break down in detail every part of graphical side for everyone.
If this all sounds abit of too much work for you but you want some new templates in, don't worry in the coming weeks we are starting the release of dozens of new downloadable Template Packs and all you need to do is just upload to your Wiccle CMS & select in the Admin CP the new template from these new packs that you want to use that are ready-made for Wiccle Web Builder / Wiccle Community Builder.
