If your web server supports modern versions of PHP and MySQL, you're all set to install. Most web hosting plans can accommodate iWiccle and Wiccle Web Builder with no special requirements.
Before you install, make sure your server meets these base requirements:
- PHP 5.2.x or higher (with GD1 or GD2 enabled)
- MySQL 5.x database server
- Apache 1.3 or 2.x (IIS/others with limited support)
iWiccle and Wiccle work seamlessly in shared hosting, VPS hosting, and dedicated server environments. If there's a PHP setting you need to change, the installer will inform you. If you need professional help with installation, you can get installation service or order a license with free installation included.
Additional Requirements for Two Wiccle Modules
Aside the basic requirements shared with iWiccle, some Wiccle Web Builder modules may require VPS hosting or higher:
- Video Conversion requires ability to run executable files on the server. (One of three video sharing modes.)
- Chat Module also works on shared hosting, but may not be allowed in your hosting company's terms of use.
