Between now and the end of March we have a high level line up of releases.
With the Wiccle Team under one roof in the Webworks Galway HQ Office, expect the following:
- Template Converter - One Layer & Multi-Layered Template Images to convert to Wiccle with only a few clicks !
- Virtual Office - Sort your tasks out, who is doing what, when & where, share files, & much more !
- CRM - Thats right, we are building a new powerful CRM module! Businesses never had it so good with Wiccle.
- Page Builder 2.0 - Bringing the Page Builder to 2.0 will make the current one feel out-dated with ease of use, new features and operating system like environment!
- Hosting - Get Hosting + iWiccle or Wiccle as part of the package for a low cost monthly fee!
- Wiccle 1.0 - It's on the way

- iWiccle 2.0 - Thats right, we will be bringing you the 2.0 version by the end of March. Version 1.21 will be the last major release and if you think the move from 1.11 to 1.20 has been huge, then 2.0 will change your world (in an iWiccle sense that is!)
We will also be improving all modules (including yet to be released Wiccle 1.0 modules) during this time and adding new 3rd party software to the Wiccle systems from our growing list of partners & supporters.
Further news on the above will be released in the coming weeks with extra details as we bring you release, after release, after release. Plus more that will announced shortly

Hi Keith, Markus and team,
iWiccle 2.0 - now that's very exciting... and a little worrying.
You see, with the release of 1.20 and it's myriad of new features, I decided that a complete site redesign was in order so as to capitalize on everything that 1.20 had to offer. I didn't have too much content in my 1.11 site, so I simply did a clean install and copied my content over to my 1.20 site.
Now that I'm nearing the end of my redesign, and hearing the words "iWiccle 2.0", I can't help wondering whether I should hold off on my 1.20 redesign?
Can you give us any pre-release information on what the migration from 1.21 to 2.0 might involve? Will there be a database restructure involved? Will we have to 'convert' files like we did in 1.2 or will we simply have to 'replace' various updated files? I'm sure you can see where I'm coming from with the questions .
PS: Any chance of getting the Audio module as the next module addition to iWiccle?
Thanks for a great product and service.

Hi John,
The migration from 1.21 to 2.0 will not affect your site as the move from 1.11 to 1.20, it will be a breeze.
iWiccle 2.0 will also include an Auto-Updater - So with a push of a button, future updates will work flawless.
Further details will be announced soon, but do continue with your site as 2.0 will only enhance it further without losing layouts, settings, etc.
There is a chance but we need to review the "Audio Module" move to iWiccle first, which could take a week or two to decide on this. John, thanks for your kind words.

John; Up to 1.20, it was about building a platform and sorting out the essentials. While 2.0 will bring you a whole lot more, changes to the architecture itself (as far as modifications go) are minimal.
Consider this our late call to get iWiccle to the version number it should be at! Though again, when we get to the 2.0 release, it should probably be called 3.0... But we'll let that pass. =)
Wiccle 1.0 engine = iWiccle 2.0 engine. And from there onwards, it's easier to go in sync when we roll out shared features and core updates. (One message we want to make crystal clear is that Wiccle Web Builder 1.0 release is a whole different beast from the iWiccle 1.0 release we put out last summer.)
Definitely don't hold back developing your site because of any of this! If for some reason I have to do a change or two that throw some of you off the grid with your modifications, then I will personally upgrade the sites of anyone whose modifications were affected for free.

Me too...
Time to get release 1.0 out of the way, as we still have Web 7.0 to build. People seem to be gobbling up numbers at an alarming rate with a less than futuristic attitude... We hereby claim 7.0, definition to follow! Something along the lines of Star Trek meets SkyNet. Web 2.0 has a bit of an archaic ring to it by now!

Cool! Does it come complete with Majel Barrett voice overs too?

I will need to channel the first lady from beyond the grave to do that, but if she's good to go, it shouldn't pose a problem. In either case it will ship with a slick Klingon interface and an optional Ka'plah! attack mode. (We do plan to go interplanetary.)
We still have all of Keith's game projects to bring onboard as well, let's see what sort of hybridization we end up with when the time comes. Whatever it may grow into, rest assured it will not be Farmville 7.0! =)

So as to not completely hijack Keith's thread, I want to reiterate that while Web 7.0 and the rest are a bit further down the road, everything in the opening post is on our immediate roadmap here and now, R&D&R (Research & Development & Release) going into full speed next week to be precise.
Moreover I'm dead serious over some of the more futuristic solutions we want to bring in later on in the course of the year, starting with some revolutionary AI features that will for example help you earn the maximum amount of money from all your ads at any given time and across different usergroups and geographic spreads.
How would you like to log into your Wiccle and read a report, "Yesterday Wiccle automatic optimizations earned you $50 extra"?
