OK! so i'm in the process of brain storming a project of what i need and what kind of system. I wanted to build a music community website like www.alonetone.com where users of one genre of music i like (drum and bass in this particular section) where users can sign on and listen to podcasts and create playlists (see the radio option in the top left) and able to generally communicate between each other. I wanted it so dj's can upload individual songs or albums and users can comment/rate and then i create a top 10 this week and so on. I'm unsure what other relevent information is needed to see what i want doing but all i can say is i want it like www.alonetone.com , quick, stable and clean! really love how veehd.com styled there website forum and made it very easy to use and reply to...i'm not so keen on too much ajax and styled items. i was going to purchase a iwiccle lisence but after hearing wiccle will be releasing a point system module i think i am going to have to save up some more.
just a quick visit for you lot, check out www.letmewatchthis.com , there system is custom, including the forum which i found quite amazing, just take a look and tell me what you guys think, i really like the simplicity of it all!
any suggestions and feedback/knowledge would be lovely....especially some notes from you Markus :)

Hi Norby! And thanks for asking.
With regards to audio features, our roadmap has two audio-specific modules in the works:
- Audio. This is a vastly extended version of the current basic Audio module, supporting playlist creation and sharing, custom players with visualization and other funky features, and so on.
- Radio. This module is also audio-centered, but with a focus on broadcasting (the Audio-module is better for compilations). The Radio module, which allows members to create their own internet radio stations, will also support proper podcasting with feeds.
If you have specific audio-related feature suggestions, please feel free to share your ideas.
On the actual look, design and structure of the site — these are completely under your control with the help of Templating and Builder. Templates can be trimmed to any shape and style, and the builder lets you configure the dynamic content presentation the way you wish. We are working on releasing a template builder, and I also have a set of different design approach skins (including a minimalist Wiccle Zen skin) coming up, as soon as I get a bit of extra time to tinker on them.
iWiccle will also receive the points system feature once we've rolled it out with WWB, but of course WWB will always have more high-end features and modules to play with. If you are low on funds and want to start developing with iWiccle, you can later transfer your site to Wiccle, and we'll chip off a bit from the price tag for you to make it smooth. =)
On a related note, whenever your projects scale up enough to justify it, Wiccle Enterprise is definitely the license of choice for anyone who's looking at creating more than one or two websites. You get 10 domains with independent lifetime-licensed WWB installations, and the price per single WWB license becomes the same as a single iWiccle Lifetime license.

hey, thanks for the reply markus, as regards to the audio feature i think that any kind of thing where users can go along and build playlists etc and play them whilst on the website is a good idea, perhaps a server load feature so if things get slightly too full it can pick a server to load the balance of the website? just an option of course. I think on the radio function side like on alonetone.com i like how you can select options like 'songs not in your favourites' current top songs etc, these are very big features and i feel will work well.
is there anymore information on the audio system?

Once we have a playlists feature, in principle you can make it work in a number of ways... Let's take it to version one first, and tidy up from there.
Load balancing and cluster support are something we have noted down for future dev, and it's really not that complicated to implement, but it's among those features that will be worked on when the need (that is, the customers' need) becomes more topical.
Re. "songs not in your favorites", that's a good point there, and I also want to have a simple "already read" (or listened) filter to let you navigate around stuff you've already seen. This bugs the life out of me at Youtube, running into the same results all the time...
What more would you like to know? All up here in my head, but if you ask something specific I don't have to start writing a book. =)

I wouldn't know how proficient you are without seeing you in action, but I have no doubt it's possible for us (as in you and us) to create it. The bulk of what's there, as I see it, are general purpose features that will be useful across our modules, and in fact when you get back to me with more detail on what exactly you want from there, chances are much of it is already on our roadmap. (I have hundreds of notes on features I want to see rolling in.)
