Hi!

I found Iwiccle and thought I'd try it out - but now I'm wondering if I'll ever get it to work properly. I've followed the installation properly, but even though I remove the folder "install" from my directory after having gone through the installation process, I still get an error message. If I let the install-folder stay, I just keep on getting back to step one over and over again.

What am I doing wrong, and how do I get it to work? I want to see how Iwiccle works, so I can decide whether or not it is the thing to use.

I'll be forever grateful for all the help I can get :) I'm no programmer and have little understanding for that specific part.. I just want things to work smoothly!

Thanx in advance!

/sadies

Hi Sadies,

You went through all the stages correctly and moved the config files & then removed the Install folder? Could you tell me the error message or copy & paste it here.

Happy to help you =)

All right, only because I wrote that, I managed to get the installation right. It has, however, raised some new questions.

Such as - why does it look like this? (http://www.eye-c.se/iwiccle/index.php)

And why can't I login and look at the administration?

'Tis sorry I am for all them stupid questions, but what the heck.. I'm such a newbie at this :0)

I will get Markus to look at this for you and we will get it working. It is likely something simple but don't worry about it, thats what we are here for. :)

Thanx a bunch! I really appreciate it, since I'm really curious if this'll work the way I want it to. As with everything else, you need to try it out before you decide...

Again - thanx! =)

Usually it's always a .htaccess file who's the culprit when you see strange system errors --- something conflicts with the host's custom server / security settings. Your CSS and image files aren't returned properly by the server.

1. Try deleting the .htaccess file under /templates.

2. Please check what the it says under the RewriteBase field in the main .htaccess file? In your case, it should look like this:

RewriteEngine On

#RewriteBase /
RewriteBase /iwiccle

3. If this doesn't fix it, try renaming or deleting the .htaccess file.
