As noted before, new themes / templates are underway. The current default theme will get extra color variants, as we had with the old 1.11 default skin (albeit they were a pretty rushed production on the eve of release), and some new themes are in works.

In this thread, I would like to get feedback from iWiccle users on what types of templates would be welcome and needed, as well as comments on some themes I've had floating on the drawing board. Please let us know how you'd like the system to look like (any screenshots/links/other reference points for a direction appreciated).

I want to commit to putting out one new skin per week so we can get the theme variants building up and more options available. They don't take that long to produce with our new templating system -- not more than one to two hours from a layered PS template to a fully integrated cross-browser compatible theme, and a fair fifteen minutes per each color variant, unless we're looking at very complex templates.

The sample content units you see there will be merged into the standard rounded and cornered unit type sets you find in iWiccle 1.20 from the Builder (the "Base" dropdown) and under skin_units.php of each template set.

Here's one of the theme drafts with an ambient grey/metal shine feel in the current color variant. It's a draft and as such I haven't bothered adding in all sample data all over --- imagine the rest into place. =)

Let's call this Ambient Metal theme for a working name. These get downscaled a bit when I post them. Click here for actual size.

Here's another one with a slightly different approach. Let's call it the Ocean Theme for now. Click here for actual size.
