I have prepared a simple plugin for those who want to use Morevil's old but solid freeware chat in their iWiccle. You can see it in action at our iWiccle live demo.
Integrating Morevil Web Chat Lite into your iWiccle is easy. Just follow the steps below.
- Download Morevil Web Chat Lite (Freeware). Upload its contents to /plugins/morevil_lite.
- Download the plugin files: iwiccle_morevil_lite_plugin.zip
- Upload the morevil_lite.php file into /templates/includes.
- Create a new page (e.g. "morevil_chat"), and import the chat page layout (wic_layout_site_morevil_chat_*.sql).
You're now set to chat with Morevil Web Chat Lite in your iWiccle. Unfortunately the chat doesn't allow username input through the applet parameters; because of this, I can't lock the chat nicks to iWiccle usernames.
