Hi guys,

I'm not a technical expert but I do run a couple of sites, I know my way around CPanel and configuring SQL and PHP sites (but not too much more). Tried to install iwiccle_101 and am having problems.

Used Filezilla to FTP.

Installing into folder in a sub-domain.

Host has Apache 2.2.11 (Unix), PHP 5.2.9, SQL 5.0.81, OS is Linux.

Tried 'Auto' FTP in Filezilla - then tried 'Binary' FTP in Mozilla - same result on both occasions -

Window saying 'Unknown File Type - 5.17KB'

Selected 'Find' to open the file - got a window saying 'Windows could not open the MIME file type application/x-httpd-php'

Not really sure what this all means - I'm not technical. Can some please help?

Thanks, John

So you are having trouble uploading the files over FTP, or accessing them over HTTP once they are uploaded?

I am also having problem although I followed the installation guide. I can't seem to access my site after installation and it keeps prompting me to open file with preferred program everytime I try.

So when you access the installer, it prompts you to download /installer.php, is this  correct? I have started a new thread for this issue. Please follow up there, and let's try to get this fixed once and for all.

To have something to compare against when you're sorting out your installation, I have prepared a video showing the entire installation process as it's meant to go.
