I enter values for the width and height (400x400) of the fileds but they don't change in the members profile settings area - profile details page.

I assumed the entry field would change size so you can see a square box but all I see is the same default rectangle.

Now I can enter as much text as I like and the final outcome, when other members view my profile, is a large box with all the text shown. It's only a little strange to type in a paragraph worth of text in on straight line.

Change the field type from input to textarea type. That ought to do it for you. You can only configure width for standard input fields, because they are exactly one line only, and therefore there's no point changing their height.

Next versions will also support select / multiselect and predefined lists. I really should change the text to say "One Line" and "Multiline", because not everyone will be familiar with the corresponding HTML codes (input/textarea).
