Hello everyone. I just came on over here from another community building website and wanted to introduce myself.I've been blogging for a number of years. I have both mainstream and adult interests on this "interweb" thing.

iWiccle was recommended to me by Technoman. I have to say a brief look around and I'm liking what I see.

Looking forward to learning and contributing to this community.

Cool

Hello Footman and welcome onboard!

The forums here have been a bit on the quiet side for a moment as we've had our full focus on the upcoming Wiccle 1.0 and major Wiccle.com upgrades, but it's about to get very exciting here...

Yes, we dig the Boonex thing. Even if they've had some serious issues with bugs and dragging release dates for a while now, they have been an undeniable influence in some of our solutions. Coincidentally our Wiccle framework logic bears an eerie semblance to what little has been said of their next-generation Poseidon system! (I only learned more of it after iWiccle 1.0 release.)

While I'm on it, why not list the other main influences. =) As we've been conceptualizing the Wiccle series of CMS and community solutions, we've adopted a good deal of smart ideas from Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress, InvisionBoard, Blogger, Facebook and a number of other main movers in the online publishing and social network industry. Our idea is to pool together the best of all worlds into a single framework, and top that off with something wicckled good and original.

When I get a moment post Wiccle 1.0 release, I need to start drawing comprehensive feature charts of all the main applications, laying an industry standard base level for us to refer to when we develop the different areas of Wiccle, and then working to turn the market upside down with out-of-the-box thinking and quick production cycles. Wiccle.com is a space to keep an eye on in the months to come --- we're going prime time!

Thanks for the heads up Technoman - I like it here already.

Markus, thanks for the welcome. I'm looking forward to trying out Wiccle. Ijust need to upload it today and play around. So far I'm impressed with what you've done.

While I'm looking forward to the product and learning from you guys who know more than I do, I also hope to contribute in some way to the community / project.

Great! As we roll out Wiccle.com next version on October 12th (October Wiccle Roadmap), you'll see much more possibilities in the way of becoming involved (and upcoming versions will give you easy ways to share your customizations too). Please check back in and let us know how iWiccle is working for you!
