Hi,

Hope somebody can point me in the right direction here. After I login to my test site as admin, I then login to Admin CP as administrator. Login successful. Redirect to this error message:

Warning: require_once(core/admin/admin_skin_test.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/epalsasi/public_html/Test/core/admin/admin_area_home.php on line 26

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'core/admin/admin_skin_test.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/epalsasi/public_html/Test/core/admin/admin_area_home.php on line 26

Up till about 1 hour ago I was able to login and use the admin area without any probs.

Any advice much appreciated.

Update on above: decided to uninstall software. reinstalled in a new folder. Started setting everything up again, editing pages, content, etc. etc. As I was editing the main page, saved my edits and got following error: Now cannot access the site at all...

Warning: require(languages/en/lang_module_search.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/epalsasi/public_html/iwiccle/core/class_templates.php on line 815

Warning: require(languages/en/lang_module_search.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/epalsasi/public_html/iwiccle/core/class_templates.php on line 815

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'languages/en/lang_module_search.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/epalsasi/public_html/iwiccle/core/class_templates.php on line 815

I guess that's the end of the road for me.

Update: Figured out how you probably caused error #2.

Error in post 1: It appears as if you're not logging in to the default Admin CP URL (index.php?module=admin), but rather to an URL with "show=test" at the end. Correct?

Error 2: Please let me know what you've done to change things around --- I can see how this error could be caused by some unconventional edits, but not in a default configuration. Specifically, what did you try to do with the "Search" pseudo-module? It doesn't behave like a regular module, it's listed as a "module" just so you can switch it on and off from the main menu.

I believe you may have selected "Search" under the "Module" dropdown ---- don't do this (I will remove the possibility in the next update), as the Module dropdown there is only used if you want to fetch dynamic content from outside the default module. (If this is the case, you should be able to fix it from Admin CP > Site > Layouts by activating the builder there.)

If these don't help, please PM me the URL for your site so I can have a look.

Remember: Everything is caused by something, and a fix is just a matter of finding out by what. There's no end of the road unless you make it so. Cool

Hi Markus,

I've sent you a pm re this. I'm not really the giving up type so i hope we can resolve it.

I rather like the iwiccle system.

Glad you like it. =)

So the "Search" module.... Whatever search options are currently available can be accessed by choosing "Search" as the unit type in the builder. There is currently no separate search module as such, it's integrated across the system and available across all modules. (If you want to modify the search forms, please see skin_search.php under /templates.)

By the way: if you ever want to restore the default layouts for any given module, you can do that in Admin CP > Site > Layouts. You can find the import files for the modules' layouts in the /docs folder inside iwiccle_120_default_module_layouts.zip. Unzip and restore as necessary.

It's also easy enough to edit these default files manually to limit the pages you restore -- just save as a new file, and snip out whatever you don't want overwritten. (I will make this selectable after import in a future release, so you can check boxes and choose the pages you want to restore.)

After you're happy with your edits, you should also export your layout sets for future restoration if/when needed.
