The "post style" format is a relic that should really go away... It's like a "unit base" prototype from the dinosaur age.
The only practical use I have found for the "unit format" switch in Custom Content for now is in creating different types of padding inside the "unit base" wrappers for your content. You could use them (in skin_units.php at the end of the file) for different internal wrappers for your custom content if you wanted. I'm sure I'll come up with more uses for this in the future.
I have been done a bit of extra security sweeping with advanced XSS issues particularly in mind, and have been running dozens of test attack scenarios across the system. I have also done a bit more general maintenace and optimizations (will recheck the page loads and report in a bit).
There is now a new Admin area under Home > Notifications where you can track PHP/MySQL errors, admin logins (failed and successful), XSS injection attempts, form/e-mail hack/spam attempts, all autoban instances, and general page bottlenecks. You can delete and ban suspect hackers there, and also set custom trigger levels for auto-suspend to keep people at bay while you're away.
Due to this addition, bundled with all the patches to date and a bit more, it will be released as version 1.21.
