After a long year of development, we are now in the position to truly begin our journey with you, our members, our customers and our partners towards a new shake up of the global CMS Industry, Social Networking Software Industry, Dating Software Industry, Blog Software Industry, Business CMS / CRM / Intranet Industry .. plus to go to where others have not gone before!

To start off, we are introducing three pricing models around Wiccle but without losing any functions or features.

Wiccle Indie Licence

Just a clarification...

With my iWiccle ads-free license (which I just purchesed) I will get a discount of €200.00 Euro off the yearly price of €299.00 Euro (I assume that's just for the first year). Thus making the first years cost only €99.00 Euro , with each subsequent year being €299.00 Euro . OR the same €200.00 Euro off the lifetime cost of €999.00 Euro . That is if the Indie Plan is purchased BEFORE November 12, 2009. 

I'm not even going close to looking at the larger packages as my site hasn't even launched yet so at the moment I have ZERO income... lol

And if you listen to the grapevine real careful, you'll hear that yearly Wiccle licenses also give very substantial credit towards a lifetime Wiccle license, whenever you want to upgrade from paying annual licenses... So no annual license monies go in waste. =)

Some of the custom pre-release Wiccle sites we've been working on have been receiving template, graphics, content remodeling & custom coding work I would normally charge 500€-1000€ for as an indie developer... So we're not being stingy as a matter of principle when it comes to adding value to early Wiccle adopters.

The sooner one buys a Wiccle license, the larger the benefits you get past billing, both as a token of appreciation, and just for the sheer fact that our sales volume will be going up a great deal in the weeks and months to come, thanks to Keith's relentless marketing & sales efforts. Just so there's another carrot out there for becoming one of the first among the first 100 Wiccle customers. =)

We will also be running special offers from time to time in the future for those who miss the opening party but want to latch on to golden opportunities in the future, as we realize not all early adopters have the funding for premium licenses, but "sooner is better", but I guess you saw me saying that! The early adopters are those giving us bread to the table in our startup phase, so we have a soft spot for them all.

For us, better economy = more dev resources, and more dev resources = faster product development and quicker responses to customer and community input for new features, and guaranteed high level of support for all the future to come. We're determined to make sure you get enough bang for your buck and can turn your web presence into something truly substantial.

I'd love to get the Indie lifetime, but I fall into the category of low funding at the moment as my daily work as suffered in this economy. This site, among the others I have, is an attempt at building a recurring income online but doing so with meager beginnings. So for me the path of building up slowly is the best I can do right now.

I'll more than likely start the annual plan (based mostly on economic reasons) for Indie package before the deadline. I'm glad to hear you'll take into consideration what one has spent in the annual package if/when we decide to upgrade to the lifetime package.

I for one am very happy to see what I'm seeing and hear what I'm hearing from you guys. As you know there has been a fair amount of broken promises and strange managment styles elsewhere. So far I'm impressed. I'm a loyal dog once I find a home. I'm hoping my search is over

I forgot to mention the upgrade paths of Wiccle Yearly to Wiccle Indie.. so here it goes :

Wiccle Yearly Licence upgrade to Wiccle Indie Licence in First Year = Price of Year One Off.

300 Euro off the 999 Euro Wiccle Indie Licence.

Wiccle Yearly Licence upgrade to Wiccle Indie Licence in Year Two = Price of Two Years Off.

600 Euro off the 999 Euro Wiccle Indie Licence.

Wiccle Yearly Licence upgrade to Wiccle Indie Licence in Year Three = Price of Three Years Off.

900 Euro off the 999 Euro Wiccle Indie Licence.

Now with Year Four, the yearly licence continues onwards at 300 Euro, unless the Wiccle Yearly Licence holder upgrades to the Indie Licence package. As for the Discount amount for Year Four & upwards, its capped at 900 Euro off as in Year Three.

Thanks for the clarification on the upgrade costs in the future. So if I'm reading everything correctly...

I just purchased my iWiccle ads-free lifetime which allows me a discount of €200 of the first years cost of €300 thus the first year if the full Wiccle will cost €100. Then I basically have 3 years to decide on the lifetime Indie before the yearly costs outweigh the lifetime costs...

and still keep the lietime ads-free iWiccle for another site?

Yes you got it right.. I think it is a pretty good deal =)

We want to work with our members in the their best interests, and we know our members will look after us.

Just to note with Wiccle Yearly and Wiccle Life-Time,

Wiccle Yearly only allows one copy of Wiccle running per domain name. While Wiccle Life-Time = 10 copies of Wiccle running at 10 different domains per licence (designed in mind for Web Designers with their own clients).

Also Wiccle Yearly has only 1 year Premium Membership at Wiccle.com, while Life-Time has 3 Years Premiuim Membership.

Plus only Wiccle Life-Time / Indie = the Special Offer where we pretty much will build your new website for you, including some custom coding (include a small app that Wiccle v1.0 does not come with, etc). This will only last for a limited time as well. It has gone down a storm to a few businesses we have spoken to in the past few weeks, as you will see in the coming weeks .. a whole bunch of different Wiccle websites appearing in our showcase that we have created with this special offer. 

That is it tho, everything else is the same in services, features, source is fully open, etc between the Wiccle Yearly & Wiccle Indie Licences.

I also have to wrap my head around converting euros in dollars. Have to remind myself it's actually costing me roughly 1.5x the number I'm seeing on the screen. I'm not used to converting to US from another currency... lol

Keith, a very fair and well-thought-through pricing model indeed.

It would be nice to see a per-module price for iWiccle (paid) licence holders - for iWiccle users who will never get to the Wiccle purchase stage. Something simple, with no additional support or commitments on your part - for those who may wish to add an extra module or two to their iWiccle site/s.

And sorry for the delay in replying. We are yet to finalize our plans as far as making individual modules available go, but as a general principle, you can expect to see more social networking and general purpose modules drifting into iWiccle in the future, while eCommerce and other premium modules will be kept to Wiccle.

We also have grand plans in developing added free and pay-for resources that help webmasters extend their sites to their liking, and if at all dev goes as I see it going, it'll be as easy as point & click after choosing goods of your choice from extension libraries integrated into your admin panels.

In short term, our priority is to first of all get Wiccle 1.0 out of the oven, followed by release of iWiccle 1.20, and then see to it that both are running smooth and providing a +0.1 update if necessary, as well as tend to our custom dev work for Wiccle promo sales. Once things are a bit settled with the priorities, we'll take developing all the related resources into a more active focus. Q1 of 2010 should prove very interesting once we're businesswise done and gone from startup to stable, and have more resources at our disposal.

P.S. iWiccle 1.20 will also allow you to clone your modules! You can then have separate copies of a general-purpose module such as Articles isolated into News, Articles, Help, and whatever else you can think up, and likewise create variants of the other modules with different layouts, base skins, menus and configuration files. You can then turn your 6 modules into 18 modules with a bit of imagination, if you want!
