I will be writing a feature length news piece on everything that's new and funky in this build sometime tomorrow. I am very excited to see this release come out, as it is the fruit of months and months of intense dev work and many many interesting ideas.

Until I get the demos all into sync, you can see a test installation here (feel free to register and test), a and version from a couple of days back with live content in here (with a couple of quirks still resident). And of course you should take it for a spin yourself on your own server!

If you spot any quirks or bugs in the release, please report them in promptly, and I will release batch files to address any remaining issues. Additional skins will also come out very soon (was close to finishing one tonight in fact!). (But this baby is easy to mod.)

Upgrade path for 1.11 users will be forthcoming shortly, but not today as I will need to cool the engine down a bit after a long and intense batch of codesatoring. We hope you enjoy this release and put it to good use!

Well done Markus!

Looking forward to testing 1.20 and all its new features.

PS. Your first post on the 1.20 release (above) says "Grab a free yours now!" You're obviously very tired. Grab some rest before it all starts again.

Thanks for the fix John, corrected. In fact I rehashed that very bit several times over, while uploading the files, doing another test install, and a bit more.

What's funny is the fact that "grab a free yours" is already featured on Google, just minutes after I posted it, and moreover appears to be a one-of-a-kind saying! Had to look it up because it definitely sounds like something that's best not said out loud. =D

Created a test DB and a test directory on my hosted server space, uploaded 1.20 and did a clean install - took less than 5 minutes and without a single problem! Smile

Time to start playing testing!

Excellent!

Any special instruction for upgrading iWiccle or is it only for a clean install?

The iWiccle 1.20 is for a clean install only but later on today (once Markus has returned to the land of the living), upgrade files will be released to update all previous versions of iWiccle. In a future update we will be adding in the Auto-Update feature!

The undead returns to the land of the living. =)

I will now 1) fix the reported issues, 2) add in a new skin (that I have half-finished), 3) add an extra interface for publishing content specific to each usergroup's permissions, 4) release an update and a batch file, and 5) map the upgrade and release the upgrade script.

This is the largest upgrade ever. 95% of the files have changed, and the database has expanded quite a bit as well.
