⋅ Subject: "Friday Morning - Euro Zone - v1.10 Release "
As Markus has mentioned we have iWiccle in good shape at version v1.10
With many requests (and long lists) of extra features, I have made the call to put in extra small add-ons, example being able to add remote videos such as YouTube vids in an easy form + a few more.
This will delay the release until European morning. I hope you all will not mind this slight delay as we are only delaying the release because we want to take care of our members as best we can.
We have gone through the long feature lists in the forums, some of those features are already in iWiccle but we need to write our documents yet to show you where they are / how to use them. =) Many features mentioned is already on our future lists with a good few already in the "Wiccle" program.
Please note we need to get back to completing the "Wiccle" platform, after the release the commerical program, we can get to many more requests of features and spread out key features in both programs.
Bare with us, it is not long now! :)

About an hour ago I finished the sixth skin and shared my checklist with Keith. Consensus was that content tracker & mail notifications still had to go in. Say, an hour?

just a question, once this version is relaeased do we need a license to put into wiccle in order to make wiccle function?
if so where would I get a licese key "?"

Just to be clear - There is 2 versions of Wiccle
Version #1 = iWiccle (notice the "i") - Open Source (the one that is released now).
iWiccle is at v1.01 and will very, very soon be V1.10
Version #2 = Wiccle - Commerical Business Script (designed for online businesses, startup businesses)
Wiccle contains everything iWiccle has plus many new Modules as mentioned in my previous Blogs here. =)
Wiccle v1.0 is not out yet, we are going into the final development of it after this release of iWiccle v1.10.
iWiccle works for 10 days without a Licence Key, after that you will need a Licence Key which if you go to the Download Section & select Registration for your Free Licence Key (or buy the ads-free version which helps us keep developing this software in the future)
The Free Licence Key is for Life, it will never run out and the same is true with the Ads-Free option too.
To upgrade from iWiccle to Wiccle (which can't be done until v1.0 is out!) is possible, we will be looking at this closely in the coming weeks and giving iWiccle customers that ability to do so but Wiccle is a standalone program that is different to iWiccle. Without this getting confusing, Wiccle code is powering iWiccle itself as we strongly belive in the Open Source nature and in giving everyone a really good program for nothing in return (apart from nice looking footer ads, which will never display 3rd Party Ads period).
We will never limit the functions of either iWiccle or in the future Wiccle to customers, there are no limits =)

Markus in responce to your meta tags
Google released a document called:
http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2008/11/googles-seo-starter-guide.html
We need to make WICCLE more friendly to both users and search engines!

Development of new features / functions will always continue with iWiccle, as long as we are around and our customers, we will do our best here which you can see with the lastest update where we have taken extra to time include a few requests straight away =)
Events, Articles is already in iWiccle, we will release more of the features you mentioned in steps over the coming months.
Wiccle (commerical) will have all the features you have outlined, the forums, videos, music, classifieds, chat and much more. You will be able to test drive Wiccle and if you like it, you can buy it (with our special introduction offer that I will be announcing soon), which also helps us to keep developing new features / functions for iWiccle too.
We have spent all our time in the last month and abit, towards iWiccle but now we will need to go back into crunch mode one last time to complete Wiccle v1.0. Wiccle will be released before the end of this month and I hope we can release it sooner as most of it is already completed. :)
This is not the end, its just the beginning .. over the coming months we are going to add alot more to both platforms and support the developments community to help with custom mods, widgets, add-ons to Wiccle / iWiccle customers. So if we don't have a certain featured created, one our community developers will be able to help (as is the norm with many Open Source CMS Communities).

Markus you will need to make a plugin that supports the following features
(each of these can be configured by us separately in admin control panel):
- Google SEO 404:
- error pages return 404 error code instead of 200 - add Google's 404 widget to 404 error pages - custom 404 error pages
- Google SEO Meta:
- generate description meta tags for forums / threads / etc. - specify canonical pages
- Google SEO Redirect:
- redirect old URLs to new URLs - this avoids URL breakage and double content
- Google SEO Sitemap:
- dynamic generation of XML Sitemaps - search engines find your content without crawling
- Google SEO URL:
- replace standard id based URLs (e.g. showthread.php?tid=12345) with name based URLs (e.g. Thread-some-subject) - UTF-8 in URLs is supported - uniquifier is applied for non-unique URLs

I am not talking threw my nose, I seen so many companies on the net that have failed cause eathier A= missing critical modules & B= no help or document on how to's
I honeslty and truthfully think that what I have mentioned up to now is what every average webmaster would like to see in todays enviroment
Remember its a big game out there anyone can make it and also alot can loose it,
in order to win the hearts of most people you will need to provide everything that most of the average user uses today on the net ...

Will there be some sort of a live bug tracker ?
So if we notice any bugs, we can upload them to be fixxed for upcomning versions right on here in a new section of the Wiccle site ?
maybe even creating 1 group of testers ?

That's all in plans, and bug tracker well up there in the priority list. There are at least 1074 things we are enthusiastic to get done as soon as possible. Admittedly it does create a number of logistics and resource problems with a two-man team! And that should be remedied soon enough with sales kicking off and giving us the resources to expand our team.

Okay folks, we now also have a system that lets you track new posts from blogs (and galleries etc.) and categories, as well as comments to posts, that lets you set an auto-expiry for it, and that delivers either to site mail or straight to email, either over SMTP or PHP mail. Ha!
Packing time!
