Galway startup Wiccle Limited has launched its new commercial Content Management System “Wiccle Web Builder” (WWB). Wiccle is based in the much maligned Webworks building in Galway City but have global ambitions and aim to create over 20 high tech jobs within the next 3 years.
WWB is designed to compete with and beat international competition. CEO Keith Killilea said “The Government keeps talking about Innovation and the Smart Economy being the way forward for Ireland and we are an example of this in action. We have spent over a year developing new software which allows both experienced programmers and end users to create Web 2.0 and eCommerce websites in a fraction of the time that they normally take”. This is because WWB has over 25+ modules, including eCommerce, Video, Forum and Chat ready to go “out of the box”.
Already Wiccle have clients for their open source iWiccle software in USA, Australia, India, South America and throughout Europe proving their global potential. However as Mr. Killilea said “Although we are an international company we are also proud of our roots and have undertaken Web Development work for some of the most prestigious names in Galway as well as working with a number of other Irish startups who have chosen to base their companies’ websites on Wiccle. We have recently acquired a large contract for a startup in the USA who was attracted by the flexibility and ease of use of our software. Clients choose us because of the quality of our software, our plans for the future and its scalability. We are privileged to be working with them to help create even more Irish jobs”.
The Web Development Software market is very competitive but the future looks bright for Wiccle which is the only dedicated CMS developer in Ireland.
